Your final messages, delivered exactly when you can’t send them yourself.

What is “If I Die: Last Words”?

It is a private, on‑device app that lets you prepare text messages for your loved ones. You choose the contacts and write the messages now. Then you simply tap the “I am alive” button on a regular basis. If you ever miss that confirmation, the app will assume you are gone and automatically send your last words to every contact you selected – using Twilio for reliable SMS delivery.

How It Works

  1. Write your messages – Create as many text messages as you want, each linked to a contact from your phone’s address book.
  2. Set your reminder – The app will ask you to prove you are alive by tapping the “I am alive” button. You can choose the frequency (e.g., daily, weekly).
  3. Live your life – Every time the reminder appears, tap the button. That’s it.
  4. When you are gone – If you miss the confirmation for a predefined number of consecutive checks, the app will automatically send every message you have prepared to its assigned contact.

Why a Subscription?

We only use Twilio to send your final messages – a service that costs us money each time an SMS is delivered. The annual fee covers those costs and ensures the app remains completely free of ads, trackers, and cloud storage.
